I adore his style and appreciate that he is a Korean artist. When I learned that Kasiq Jungwoo would be illustrating the cover for this book, I was incredibly happy.
So I decided to write the book I wanted to read, which resulted in the birth of The Silence of Bones, a murder mystery set in 1800s Korea, back when it was a closed-off kingdom. I grew up watching historical Korean Dramas, and one day I found myself wanting a book form of this genre, but couldn’t quite find what I was looking for.
